A 1B 4MYK05030S is a straight-tooth miter gear made of brass, with a module of 0.5, 30 teeth, and a 20° pressure angle. It has a 3.5 mm bore with an H8 tolerance, a 15 mm pitch diameter, a 12 mm face width, a 14 mm hub length, a 2.5 mm hub projection, and an 8 mm overall length. It is sold individually and features a set screw for shaft mounting. Shaft and hub dimensions are compatible with standard mating applications. All dimensions are metric.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
