PCR 56/06 EC SD Advanced Motion Controller is a single-axis controller for brushless DC motors with Hall sensors or encoders. It operates from 12-56 V, delivers 5.5 A continuous and 12.0 A peak current, and provides 379 W continuous power. Support includes quadrature, sin/cos, BiSS-C, pulse & direction, and Hall effect encoders at 32 Mcounts/sec. Host communication uses RS232/RS485/RS422, with optional CAN or SPI expansion. Eight bidirectional digital I/Os and a 16-bit analog input are included. Position and current loops run at 19.53 kHz, with PWM selectable at 20-120 kHz. Multi-axis sync is under 1 µs. The device measures 83 x 70 x 40 mm and includes 256 KB NVRAM for user programs, supporting up to 16 tasks via a 428 MIPS C-Motion Engine. Safety features include overcurrent, overtemperature, over/under voltage, I²T foldback, brake signal, and shunt control.
