Print Length · Easy Configuration with PC · Create-A-Label Software DESCRIPTION: The Zebra LP2844 is a low cost, desktop direct thermal printer. This family of printers is designed specifically for printing labels, tags or continuous receipts, with or without barcodes, from any Windows® or DOS® based computer. The printer features built-in fonts for all common barcode types, including PDF-417 and Maxicode. The Eltron Create-A-Label software and Windows® printer drivers are included. The printer has both Serial and Parallel data connections. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: The Zebra LP2844 Printer and Create-A-Label software enables the user to design and print labels from a Windows® or DOS® based PC. The PC can connect to the printer through a serial (Com) or Parallel (Printer) port. Label data can be entered from the keyboard, or imported from a database using ODBC. Create-A-Label also features its own database. The ELP-2 Command Language can be used to print specific labels from user-developed applications. Since the barcode fonts are built-in, no knowledge of barcode specifications is necessary.
