SRC Devices DYAD® reed switches are true Surface Mountable devices. Available in 15 mm (DYAD® ) and 6 mm (Ultra Mini DYAD® ) glass lengths in both SM lead-out and straight configuration. The range is offered in both standard and overmolded versions. The switch offers sputtered Ruthenium contacts unique patented laser glass sealing. All devices are UL approved and can offer switching lifetimes in excess of 1 Billion operations. DYAD® Ultra-Mini dry reed switches are ideally suited for small switching signal applications. The small size lends itself to surface mountable applications, working well on higher density PC boards. This switch has sputtered ruthenium contacts and an extraordinary seal strength achieved by a patented laser sealing of the leads.
