Corning Optical Communications Manual Variable Optical Attenuator/(and dual)

Description
Corning offers a full line of variable optical attenuators (VOAs) designed to control the optical power in a fiber. They are often combined with an active system component to maintain optical power on a network even if the power changes in the input signal. Our automatic variable optical attenuators are specifically designed for the use in DWDM networks with individual channel source elements such as add/drop transmitters. The cost and performance of our automatic variable optical attenuators are specifically targeted to allow for the use of these devices in volume as principle DWDM channel stabilization components. Features • Low PDL and WDL • Board-Mount Package • High Repeatability and Resolution • Compact Size and Rugged Construction • Multichannel Wavelength Performance
