The MSD7342 series comprises shielded coupled inductors designed for flyback, SEPIC, buck, and Zeta converter applications, with tight coupling (k ≥ 0.97) and 200 Vrms winding-to-winding isolation. The MSD7342-183ML variant features 18 µH inductance per winding, a maximum DCR of 0.170 ohms, a saturated current rating of 2.0 A at 10% inductance drop, and an RMS current rating of 0.95 A per winding. It operates from -40°C to +85°C ambient, with a maximum part temperature of +125°C, and is rated to AEC-Q200 Grade 3. The component is housed in a surface-mount package measuring 7.5 mm × 7.5 mm × 4.6 mm with a recommended land pattern of 3.8 mm × 3.3 mm. It supports reflow soldering up to three cycles at 260°C, has an MSL 1 moisture sensitivity rating, and is available on 7″ or 13″ reels with EIA-481 embossed plastic tape.
