The MSD1278T series consists of shielded coupled inductors designed for high-temperature operation up to 125°C ambient, with a winding-to-winding isolation of 500 Vrms and tight coupling (k ≥ 0.98). The parts are housed in a surface-mount package measuring 12.3 mm × 12.3 mm × 7.8 mm and feature a recommended land pattern of 5.0 mm × 5.5 mm. The MSD1278T-103 variant has a nominal inductance of 10 µH per winding with a tolerance of ±20%, a DC resistance of 0.058 Ω per winding, a saturation current of 8.80 A at 10% inductance drop, and an RMS current rating of 2.56 A for both windings. The series is qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1, compliant with RoHS, and rated for an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Packaging is on a 13-inch reel with 500 units per reel.
