The MSD1048 Series comprises shielded coupled inductors for Flyback, SEPIC, Ćuk, Zeta, and multi-output buck converters, with 200 Vrms winding-to-winding isolation and coupling coefficients ≥0.97. The MSD1048-224KED variant provides 220 µH per winding (±10%), a maximum DCR of 0.840 Ω per winding, a typical SRF of 4.8 MHz, a leakage inductance of 1.0 µH, an Isat of 0.90 A, and an Irms of 0.62 A per winding at 25°C. It operates from -40°C to +85°C ambient with a maximum part temperature of +125°C and withstands three reflows at +260°C. The component measures 10.3 mm x 8.89 mm x 4.8 mm and weighs 1.5-1.8 g. Packaging is 800 per 13-inch reel with EIA-481 tape. Termination is RoHS-compliant matte tin over nickel over phosphor bronze.
