CST4835-030E and CST4835-030EC are surface-mount current sense transformers for sensing continuous currents up to 7 A at frequencies from 56 kHz to over 1000 kHz, with a 1:30 turns ratio. The device has a 4.5 mm × 4.8 mm footprint, 500 Vrms isolation between windings, and operates from -40°C to +125°C ambient. It meets AEC-Q200 Grade 1 and is halogen-free and RoHS compliant. The secondary terminating resistance is 4.3 ohms for a 1 V output at 7 A primary current, and the inductance is 74 μh at 100 kHz. The part is housed in a 12 mm wide tape reel, with MSL 1 moisture sensitivity and resistance to three reflows at 260°C.
