Gardobond 24 S is a manganese-modified, nickel-containing, low-zinc phosphate process for steel and galvanized steel applied by spray. Small amounts of aluminum may also be processed through Gardobond 24 S, although coatings are normally developed on aluminum only with special additives. The zinc phosphate coatings produced by Gardobond 24 S are suitable for electrophoretic, powder, solvent-borne and water-borne paints.
