CrysCoat CM is a robust, simple-to-use, calcium-modified zinc phosphate for iron and steel substrates. CrysCoat CM forms coatings of 150-500 mg/ft2 (1.6-5.4 g/m2). Application is by immersion. CrysCoat CM forms very fine coatings and does not need a separate grain-refining activator or accelerator. CrysCoat CM is compatible with powder, liquid and electrocoat paints as well as rubber-to-metal bonding agents. CrysCoat CM meets the requirements of Federal Specification TT-C-490 Type I.
