AL-55 is an interleaving powder composed of adipic acid and acrylic beads that protect the individually stacked sheets of flat glass. AL-55 allows for the automatic or manual separation of individual lites of glass. AL-55 is very effective at preventing glass surface staining if a high level of corrosion is required.
