CODESYS PROFINET Device (for EL6631-0010) SL enables a CODESYS-compatible controller with EtherCAT support to function as a PROFINET device in a PROFINET network, requiring the Beckhoff EL6631-0010 or EL6633-0010 terminal. The license is activated in the CODESYS Development System V3.5.8.0 or higher, and operates on a software-based license container or a CODESYS Key USB dongle. A single license is bound to one target controller. The system requires an EtherCAT master, an Ethernet port on the controller, and WIBU Codemeter support. Demo mode allows two hours of operation without a license.
CODESYS PROFINET Device (for EL6631-0010) SL allows end users to integrate a CODESYS compatible controller with EtherCAT fieldbus support into an existing PROFINET network. License activation is required for each device. This is done from within the CODESYS Development System.
