CODESYS Modbus TCP Client SL is a software license for enabling Modbus TCP client functionality on CODESYS-compatible devices via an Ethernet adapter. It requires CODESYS Development System V3.5.17.0 or higher and CODESYS Control runtime with SysSocket component. The license is stored on a Soft Key or CODESYS Key USB dongle and supports up to 64 Modbus TCP servers. It implements all standard Modbus function codes and integrates fully within the CODESYS Development System, generating I/O mapping automatically. Operation requires no additional hardware beyond an Ethernet adapter.
