CODESYS Control for WAGO Touch Panels 600 SL is a SoftPLC runtime based on CODESYS V3 for programming WAGO Touch Panels 600 series devices. It runs on Linux without root privileges by default, using a dedicated unprivileged user/group, with privileged functions handled by CODESYS PrivilegeProxy for Linux. The runtime supports CODESYS CANopen, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, J1939, Modbus TCP and Serial, and PROFINET, along with CODESYS OPC UA Server and WebVisu, subject to licensing. It includes the SL Extension Package for integrating C code, using local I/Os, and connecting persistent memories. The software requires CODESYS Development System V3.5.17.0 or higher and WAGO firmware version 17 or later. Operation is not supported in containers or virtual machines. The license is application-based and tied to the device or a CODESYS USB dongle. Technical support is not included and must be purchased separately.
