The BK5160 standard coupler is a CANopen slave that supports the KL, KS, and KM series Bus Terminals. It automatically detects baud rates of up to 1 Mbit/s. The node address can be specified easily and manually using two rotary selector switches. The BK5160 also has a USB-C interface so that the KS2000 software can be used to configure the bus terminals or to enable firmware updates.
The CAN connection is a 9-pin D-sub connector. A suitable ZS1052-3000 connector for field assembly with integrated terminating resistor is available for this D-sub connector.
