Turn your iron into a sewing machine with Liquid Thread, The Sewing Machines in a Bottle that lets you create exciting fabric projects such as quilts, clothing, pillows, gifts and more. Liquid Thread is also great for quick repairs on seams and hems, all with the touch of an iron. Liquid Thread is washable, dry cleanable, and non-toxic. Sew the easy “ no-sew” way with Liquid Thread. Directions Always test on scrap fabrics Pre-wash fabrics to remove sizing. Snip tip 1/8’ from top Use a dry iron (NO STEAM) on wool setting. Apply a thin line of glue to the wrong side of fabric, place pieces together & allow to dry for at least 15 minutes. Cover with press cloth; iron for 30-50 seconds. Glue will turn from white to clear. Repeat on other side, if necessary. Materials It Bonds: Fabrics, To: Fabrics (Quilts, trims, fabrics & hems) Features: Permanent, Dries Clear, Waterproof, Dry Cleanable Cure Time: 24 Hours Helpful Hints: To Increase Product Effectiveness: Pre-wash all fabrics before applying glue. Sizing prevents glue from thoroughly penetrating fibers. Some metallic threaded fabrics might require two washings. Iron at a cotton setting for 45-60 seconds. Remember, iron temperatures can vary as much as 100 degrees. Always use a press cloth to prevent scorching. Glue must turn from white to clear. If glue did not bond after ironing, iron was not hot enough, heat was not applied evenly or long enough, or too much heat was applied for too long a period. To Remove: When wet (before ironing), Liquid Thread can be removed with water.
