Backer Springfield's Single Ended heaters are similar in construction as our tubular heating elements. However, their termination of both lead wires at one end simplifies wiring and installation, which makes them highly convenient for defrosting applications in the refrigeration industry, as well as heat transfer for both open air and immersion applications. Our single ended heaters are available in 0.375" diameter and a variety of sheath materials with maximum temperature ratings of 1600 °F, with a neoprene end seal vulcanized to sheath and neoprene insulated lead wires for electrical connection.
