The insertion of precision bearings is a process that must be accomplished with care and in a specific manner. In order to properly seat an internal bearing, all force must be placed only upon the race that is being mounted. This can be difficult if the bearing is very small and/or if the bore is deep. We now offer our Insertion Tools in conjunction with our Miniature Bearing Pullers.
The tool holds and aligns the bearing by its inner race and allows the force to be applied directly to the outer race so that bearings maybe inserted into bores without damage.
Insertion Tools are sold in sets or individually in combination with an Autotronics Bearing Puller and are selected based on the I.D. and O.D. of the bearing.
