The M39029 Size 8 coaxial socket contact, part number 150539, is a 50-ohm RF connector designed for use with MIL-C-38999 Series I, III, and IV connectors. It features a beryllium copper body and center contact with gold plating, a brass ferrule with dead soft finish, and a TFE fluorocarbon dielectric. The contact supports a frequency range of 0 to 5 GHz, a voltage rating of 750 V(rms), and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1300 V(rms). Maximum VSWR is 1.3:1 and insertion loss is 0.3 dB. It is RoHS compliant, weighs 0.49 oz (13.74 grams), and requires crimp tooling per M22520/5-01 with a .290" hex crimp. Installation includes a 1.5" piece of Raychem ATUM heat shrink for strain relief and moisture protection.
