The AIS12F04AP024-Q65 is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from Altech Corp. designed for non-contact detection of metal objects. It operates on a DC voltage range of 10-30V and features a Normally Open (NO) output configuration. The sensor has a sensing distance of up to 15mm and is housed in a nickel-plated brass casing, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental factors with an IP67 protection rating. It includes a 2-meter fixed PVC cable and is suitable for various applications where reliable metal detection is required. The sensor is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25 to 70¬8C and offers features such as short circuit protection, overload protection, and reverse polarity protection.
Altech Cylindrical sensors are available in diameters ranging from 4mm (.16 in.) to 30mm (1.18 in.) with sensing distances up to 40mm (1.57 in.). Most models feature nickel plated brass (BN) housing, but stainless steel (SS) and non-metallic versions are available. Both flush mount and non-flush mount sensors are available. Flush mount versions are often called shielded or embeddable. Non-flush mount sensors are also called non-shielded or nonembeddable. Non-flush sensors have larger sensing distances than their flush mount counterparts. All Inductive sensors meet IP67 (NEMA1, 3, 4, 6, 12, 13) protection levels.
