Alfa Laval thermometers are mechanical temperature gauges for use in dairy, food and beverage, personal care and biopharm production processes that require precise local indication of temperature. Stable, accurate temperature measurement Alfa Laval thermometers are sturdy mechanical temperature gauges that provide accurate measurement of local temperature for a broad range of hygienic processes. Temperature indication is easy to read on the 80 or 100 mm-diameter dial. A built-in bimetallic coil automatically compensates for any effect on the reading caused by changes of the ambient temperature. Reliable thermometer design Manufactured from robust, corrosion-resistant materials, these thermometers feature 304 stainless steel casing and a 316 stainless steel clamp connection and sensor tube. Alfa Laval thermometers come as standard with liquid-filled housing. An inert gas that is completely neutral to the environment is used as the filling medium for the sensor tube, making the thermometers suitable for hygienic processes.
