The Aget Manufacturing Company FT64 After-Filter Dust Filter with Exhauster is designed for high-efficiency filtration of fine dust particles, improving air quality in various industrial applications. It features a woven fabric filter material that provides a filtration area of 612 square feet, capable of handling airflow rates between 1,600 and 5,000 CFM, depending on the dust type. The unit includes a standard shaker mechanism for dust reconditioning, which can be operated manually or automatically. The FT64 model is constructed with a heavy-duty industrial grade design, featuring a component bolt-together structure and a weather-resistant powder-coated finish. It has a dust storage capacity of 25.2 cubic feet, accommodating various dust bin arrangements, including options for multiple 55-gallon drums. The product is suitable for applications in woodworking, metalworking, pharmaceuticals, and food processing, among others. It also offers optional features such as explosion-proof shaker motors and HEPA filter additions, enhancing its versatility for specific operational needs.
For applications that produce a fine dust or powder in medium or heavy volumes, an Aget After-Filter with an attached industrial exhauster can be the ideal solution. Exhausters create a powerful air force that pushes contaminated air through a non-sparking fan and into an after-filter or baghouse filter. The air can then be vented outdoors or returned to the work area, where appropriate.
These products are perfect for indoor use where a filter enclosure is not required and air is to be recirculated within the work space. They can, however, be equipped with enclosures for outdoor locations. Separate exhausters are also available without an attached after-filter for ventilation, circulation, fume emission or improvement of in-plant work environment.
After Filters often permit recirculation of cleaned air for non-hazardous applications. Separate After Filters and Filterkop “Baghouse” Collectors are available in several configurations and sizes, from 112 square feet of filtration surface area through 7000 square feet for larger air volumes. They are commonly used as “final filters” behind cyclone separators, combined with exhausters for fine dust or powder collection, or as replacements or additions to existing systems with inadequate filtration.
