Abrisa Technologies On-Demand Laser Cut Gaskets & Masks

Description
Abrisa Technologies provides in-house, on-demand, fast turn laser cutting of high performance materials used as gaskets and environmental seals for glass components interfaced with metals, plastics, paints, and more. We also provide value-added installation of the gaskets onto coated, screen printed and fabricated glass for integrated ready-to-install Total Solutions. The on-demand laser process accommodates both the quick design changes needed for prototyping as well as the highly repeatable results for volume production, all without the investment of tooling. The speed and precision of the laser results in crisp and clean edges with a high quality surface finish and consistency. Generic or highly complex geometries and intricate shapes with small features can be created to fit application-specific requirements. Customer supplied DXF, DWG, STEP, AI, 3D Model or PDF files can be used to create the pattern design of the gasket or mask thereby eliminat-ing variables which could affect the configuration and functionality. Gaskets can replace mechanical fasteners for longer term holding power. Typical Gasket and Mask Materials Include: Single and Double-Sided Adhesive Bonding and Adhesion Transfer Tapes: 3M™ VHB Series: 4926, 5907, 5915, 5925P, 467MP Optical Surface Protection Tapes, Elastomers, PVC Typical Applications Environmental Moisture Seals Bonding of Glass to Mounts, Housings and Bezels Acoustic Insulation and Vibration Isolation Heat Shielding and Thermal Insulation Electrically Conductive Gaskets Anti-Shatter Protection Masks for Patterning
