We are pleased to announce a new range of HighForce ZTRS Precision Rack & Pinion Drive Systems that can handle highly dynamic and heavy loads. These systems utilize our Precision Planetary Reducers with an integral output housing and outboard bearing to provide a rigid support to the output pinion. Typically, reducers with output flanges are limited in the forces they can transmit by the tilting moment that the output bearings can handle. By adding an output bearing housing, this limitation is removed. Also, the unique design of the pinion allows for smaller pitch diameters, which decreases the torque on the reducer. Because of these design enhancements, a smaller reducer can typically be used. These drives are perfect for a wide range of applications, including axis drives requiring precise positioning & repeatability, traveling gantries & columns, pick & place robots, CNC routers and material handling systems. Heavy loads and duty cycles can be easily handled with this drives.
