This foundational course introduces the engineering principles and code requirements essential for the design, materials and construction, and post-construction of industrial piping systems and transmission pipelines.
Part 1 - Design:
Learners will gain a working knowledge of the ASME codes for piping and pipelines, with a focus on code intent, design rules, with practical applications.
Part 2 - Materials and Construction:
Participants will learn to apply ASME B31 codes in material selection, specification, welding, joining, examination, and pressure testing to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable piping and pipeline systems.
Part 3 - Post-Construction:
Participants will learn to apply risk-based inspection methods, interpret fitness-for-service evaluations, and implement post-construction repairs and modifications to ensure safe and reliable piping operations.
