The FAM3200 is an armored variable area purgemeter designed for measuring small flows of gases and liquids in aggressive or opaque media, suitable for chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical applications. It features a stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti) wetted construction with Viton A®, Buna N®, Kalrez®, PVDF, or PTFE sealing materials, and is rated for maximum operating temperatures of −50 to 180 °C and pressures up to PN 40 or PN 100 depending on configuration. The device has IP64 protection, a 6% accuracy at 50% of full scale per VDE/VDI 3513, and optional features include analog output (4-20 mA), alarm signaling, differential pressure regulation, and needle valves. Models are available with horizontal or vertical process connections in NPT or G threads from ¼ in to 1 in, with housing materials including polycarbonate or stainless steel. Dimensions and weight vary by model, ranging from 0.3 kg to 2.3 kg.
