Course overview:The TxDOT National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process is predicated on making balanced decisions on transportation needs. This course discusses the balance of improving mobility and protecting the environment. Important aspects of the NEPA process are covered, as well as aspects that need to be reviewed when refining alternatives.
This is the fourth course in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Overview series.
Target audience: Members of all State agencies may take this course; however, know that this is not a TC3 course and all of the information provided is specific to Texas.
