The ECWFE series from Panasonic are metallised polypropylene film capacitors. These film capacitors are compact and feature a flame retardant case with non-combustible epoxy resin. With a durable and robust boxed exterior, these film capacitors are far more capable of withstanding vibration than standard dipped capacitors. With built-in fuse functionality, ECWFE capacitors will not short circuit, but open upon failure. The use of a polypropylene dielectric material ensures better electrical characteristics than a polyester dielectric. Rated for 450 V dc applications. Polypropylene dielectric.
