PEM utilizes a highly trained Quality Assurance staff, and modern, state of the art inspection equipment, to inspect incoming gearbox components for reverse engineering and manufacturing purposes. With the use of continuous, scheduled inspections, our Quality Assurance Department ensures that all product produced at PEM meets all of the requirements set forth by our Engineering Department and/or the customer. Our inspection equipment, which includes an extensive variety of measurement devices and two large capacity Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's). We have the manufacturing and engineering capacity to repair most gearbox designs. If a catastrophic failure occurred we can analyze the gearbox and identify all modes of failure, therefore we can provide the proper corrective action. All gearboxes have to undergo a no load test (up to 300% load test upon request), then primed or painted to your specifications before shipping.
