Aitken Infrared Process Modules are designed primarily as process heaters and are not intended for people or comfort heating. Maximum operating ambient temperature of 350 degrees F. Higher object temperatures can be achieved.
Metal sheath heaters allow for precise product temperature control through percentage timers. Operating sheath temperatures of 1450 degrees F or less means that this equipment is a prime source of far infrared heat. Far infrared means less color sensitivity on the product, and the ability to readily see and evaporate moisture.
Double element heater for higher watt densities. For applications such as warm-up zones in ovens and faster heat input on process equipment. Will mount in any position.
If you need new ovens or your existing ovens are incapable of keeping up with today's requirements, this is your most economical answer. To increase temperature and production, these units can be installed in existing warm-up zone, or complete oven sections can be fabricated on a simple angle iron frame. For more efficiency, aluminum sheets can be placed between the extrusion slots to form an inner oven shell and reduce the heat loss. To further increase efficiency, glass insulation and an outer shell can be installed.
