Most of the commercially available bioabsorbable devices are composed of polyesters, primarily homopolymers and copolymers of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and poly(glycolic acid; PGA). Copolyesters of ε-caprolactone, trimethylene carbonate, and p-dioxanone have also been commercialized. At Zeus, we continue to strive to raise the bar for our bioabsorbable and other product lines.
