The HPW wirewound series of resistors are produced for high precision applications. The HPW series can be produced below 0.1% on request with Temperature Coefficients matching to 1ppm. The HPW is ideal for high precision high stability applications. Both the bobbin and the final encapsulation material of the HPW are produced using the same thermal material. The resulting resistor is virtually a homogeneous mass with an identical coefficient of expansion which is unaffected by the most violent of temperature cycling. The HPW series offers robust construction and precise values.
