CPS imports minerals via the Port of Baltimore and transports them to its East Greenville location by rail car loads to its private rail siding.

Bulk material handling systems take the product into the plant for coarse processing. Afterwards, it is packaged in bags, sacks, drums or tanker trucks and shipped via Birchmont Transport to the Reading facilities for ultra-fine grinding. After further processing and packaging, the material is either shipped directly or moved to company warehouses for storage and shipment at a later date.

Custom Processing Services also handles container shipments to and from international destinations through Birchmont Transport.
