Igus presents the worlds first tribological 3D filament for 3D printers. The tribological 3D printing material is up to 50 times more abrasion-resistant than conventional 3D print materials. Choose between 2 wear-resistant Igus materials: iglidur® I180-PF and iglidur® J260-PF. 3D printing materials can be processed on any 3D printer that is equipped with a heated print bed on which temperatures are adjustable. So, any method to ensure the adhesion of ABS filaments to the printer bed can then also be used for iglidur® 3D printer filaments, examples: glass taped with blue tape or Kapton tape at a bed temperature of 90°C to 110°C. Igus provides even more flexibility in the form of 3D filaments. Designing custom parts and manufacturing prototypes is easy.
