The 1422D is a used Capacitance Standard from General Radio. Engineers use direct current (DC) voltage standards to calibrate, standardize, normalize, and monitor drift, verify linearity, and establish regulation in electronic equipment. Standards are important during electronics compliance testing. Phase angle standards are ideal for calibrating many different electronics, including power analyzers, vector voltmeters, phase meters, phase sensitive instruments, and resolvers.
- Two-terminal capacitor
- Direct reading in total capacitance at the terminals
- Dual ranges of 35 to 115 pF and 100 to 1150 pF
- Initial accuracy is ±0.6 pF. 0.2 pF/div scale
- 2-terminal type unit
The General Radio 1422D, Standard Variable Air Capacitor, is a stable and precise variable air capacitor intended for use as a continuously adjustable standard of capacitance. One of the most important applications is in AC bridge measurements, either as a built-in standard or as an external standard for substitution measurements.
