The 1406D is a used Capacitance Standard from General Radio. Engineers use direct current (DC) voltage standards to calibrate, standardize, normalize, and monitor drift, verify linearity, and establish regulation in electronic equipment. Standards are important during electronics compliance testing. Phase angle standards are ideal for calibrating many different electronics, including power analyzers, vector voltmeters, phase meters, phase sensitive instruments, and resolvers.

Additional Features:

  • The General Radio 1406D is a stable, low-loss air capacitor with small, stable and known series inductance.
  • This permits the accurate, traceable calibration of high-frequency bridges and other impedance-measuring instruments.
  • It is 100 pF ±0.1% with a peak voltage of 1500 V and a typical inductance of 7.6 nH.
