Plastic Fabrication Services
Service Detail from Elasto Proxy Inc.

Elasto Proxy works with a network of suppliers to source high-quality, cost-effective plastics for your applications. We then custom fabricate your components from extruded or molded plastic materials. Examples include plastic parts made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), green plastics, engineered plastics, high-performance thermoplastics (HPTPs), and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs).
Elasto Proxy's custom fabrication capabilities include small plastic parts about the size of an iPhone. Examples from the medical equipment industry include plastic pedal pads, Delrin® rollers, slide-on-parts, and bed-mounted holders. Automotive applications include molded plastic parts with the words "press here". Elasto Proxy serves a wide range of industries, so ask our experienced solutions providers if molded or extruded plastic parts are right for your application.
Plastic Molding Services
For years, the automotive and aerospace industries have been replacing metal products with molded plastic components. Driven by demands to reduce weight and improve fuel economy, manufacturers are adopting engineered plastics that can achieve the same tight tolerances - and with fewer secondary operations.
With the proper design and compound selection, plastic parts can provide much more than high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Because plastic injection molding allows for undercuts, threads, and ports, product designers can create complex shapes to finish-level specifications. Specialty polymers can also provide thermal or electrical conductivity, or shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Plastic Extrusion Services
Elasto Proxy can also helps you source extruded plastic materials. Our solutions providers can then design and custom fabricate extruded plastic parts that meet all of your application requirements. For example, with our Pantone color matching capabilities, our solutions providers can match your existing product color schemes.
Rubber and elastomer materials have their advantages, but plastic parts permit greater detail - especially on a long strip with a lip. Extruded plastic parts are also stronger and harder, and do a better job keeping their shape. By contrast, rubber parts must be designed to prevent collapse after extrusion.
