Scotch¬Æ Performance Masking Tape 2380 is a tan, mini-crepe paper masking tape designed for various paint masking applications. It features a smooth crepe paper backing treated with a heat and solvent-resistant saturant, and utilizes a natural/synthetic rubber adhesive. The tape has a thickness of 7.2 mils (0.182 mm) and comes in a standard roll length of 55 meters (60.17 yards). The tape exhibits an adhesion to steel of 39 oz/in (43 N/100 mm) and a tensile strength of 28 lbs/in (498 N/100 mm). It can withstand temperatures up to 325¬8F (163¬8C) for 30 minutes, making it suitable for both air-dry and oven-bake conditions. The product is designed for industrial use, providing excellent conformability, easy tear, and clean removal from surfaces when tested under specified conditions. However, it is not recommended for outdoor exposure or prolonged sunlight, as this may affect its removability. For optimal performance, it is advised to store the tape under normal conditions of 70¬8F (21¬8C) and 50% relative humidity, and to use it within one year from the date of manufacture.
