3M,Ñ¢ Scotch-Weld,Ñ¢ Structural Adhesive Film AF 191 is a thermosetting modified epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength bonding applications, including composites, metal-to-metal, and metal-to-honeycomb components. It exhibits excellent elevated temperature performance, with a recommended cure temperature of 350¬8F (177¬8C) and flexible cure cycles ranging from 275¬8F to 400¬8F. The adhesive film provides extremely high peel strength and durability, making it suitable for demanding environments, including cryogenic conditions. It is available in various forms, including unsupported and isolation versions, and can be used with conductive screens for lightning strike protection. The film has a low volatile content of less than 1% and is tan in color. Proper storage at 0¬8F (-18¬8C) is recommended to maximize shelf life, which is six months from the date of shipment.
