The 3M,Ñ¢ EMI Absorber AB6005-100M-ROLL is designed for applications requiring both electromagnetic shielding and absorption. It features a multi-layer construction that includes an insulation layer, a shielding layer, an absorbing layer, and a non-conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive. This product is suitable for a frequency range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz and provides a minimum shielding effectiveness of 40 dB from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. With a total thickness of 4.13 mil (0.105 mm) and an absorber thickness of 1.97 mil (0.050 mm), it is designed for easy handling and die-cutting, supplied on a removable release liner. The adhesive has an adhesion strength of 8.8 oz/in (250 gf/25 mm), ensuring reliable application on various substrates. The operating temperature range is from -30¬8C to 105¬8C (-22¬8F to 221¬8F), making it versatile for different environments. This absorber is particularly effective in reducing conduction and radiation noise in electronic devices, including mobile phones, PDAs, PCs, and military equipment. It is also applicable for filtering in high-speed microprocessors and resonant peak suppression in enclosed cavities. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored properly, ensuring longevity and reliability for engineering projects.
