The AB5020 is part of the 3M AB-5000 Series EMI Absorber, designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorption. It features a flexible composition of soft metal flakes embedded in a polymer resin, combined with an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive for easy application. The product is supplied in a standard size of 210mm x 297mm and has a thickness of 0.20mm. This absorber is suitable for applications that require suppression of radiated noise from electronic devices across a broadband radio frequency range. Common uses include mobile phones for specific absorption rate (SAR) reduction, computers, digital cameras, and military equipment for radar avoidance and stealth performance.
