The 3M™ adjustable wrist strap 2200 Series consists of a wrist band and a grounding cord. Grounding cord length is the extended length for the coiled cords. The molded cap on the grounding cord that snaps onto the wristband contains a one megohm resistor.
The 3M™ wrist strap tester 746 is a compact unit that can be used for daily testing in a production facility; periodic testing at telephone central offices and remote sites; and by field service personnel. The Tester 746 comes with a 110/120 AC adapter and the unit can be wall-mounted. A long-life lithium battery provides back-up power for portable applications or during power failures.
