3M SandBlaster sanding sponge uses aluminum oxide as the abrasive material. Comes in a medium abrasive grade. 3M incorporates this aluminum oxide material into the sanding sponge forming a grit of 80. The sanding sponge has a width of 2 1/2 in and length of 3 3/4 in.
