3M Diamond Grade Reflectors Series 989 are 3-inch round amber retroreflective stickers designed for vehicle conspicuity, compliant with FMVSS 108 and SAE J594 when mounted in the 0º orientation. They feature prismatic lenses in a durable transparent synthetic resin with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and clear polymer liner, suitable for application on aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, and painted surfaces within a temperature range of 50 to 100 °F. Reflectors resist fading, cracking, peeling, and discoloration for a seven-year warranty period from installation date. Minimum retroreflectivity at 0º observation and entrance angles is 1050 mcd/lux for amber.
