This tape is dimensionally stable at high temperatures, with a temperature use range of -73¬8C to 260¬8C (-100¬8F to 500¬8F), making it suitable for masking printed circuit boards during wave soldering or solder dipping processes. It exhibits flame retardant, chemical, and radiation-resistant properties, which help protect surfaces and reduce replacement costs. The silicone adhesive minimizes adhesive transfer, promoting high productivity by eliminating the need for cleaning. With an adhesion to steel of 20 oz/in (22 N/100 mm) and a tensile strength at break of 33 lbs/in (578 N/100 mm), this tape is robust for various applications.
