3M,Ñ¢ Fabric Tape CN-4190 is a double-coated conductive tape made from copper-nickel coated polyester fabric with a conductive acrylic adhesive. It is designed for applications requiring grounding and EMI shielding, such as in shielded rooms and electronic equipment. The fabric backing provides flexibility, lightweight properties, and strength, while also reducing the risk of finger lacerations during handling. The tape exhibits a typical shielding effectiveness of 65dB to 70dB, although actual performance may vary based on application conditions. It has a total thickness of 4.3 mils (0.11 mm) and features an electrical resistance through the adhesive of 0.05 ohms. The product is supplied on a removable liner for ease of handling and die cutting. It has a shelf life of five years when stored under recommended conditions.
