3M,Ñ¢ Fabric Tape CN-3190 is a nickel on copper-plated polyester fabric designed for RFI and EMI shielding applications. It features an anti-corrosion polyester rip-stop fabric backing combined with a conductive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, providing excellent flexibility, conformability, and strength while minimizing the risk of finger lacerations. The tape exhibits a typical shielding effectiveness of 65dB to 70dB, making it suitable for grounding and EMI shielding in various equipment and environments. The tape has a total thickness of 4.3 mils (0.11 mm) and a breaking strength of 40 lb/in (18 kgf/25 mm). Its electrical resistance through the adhesive is measured at 0.05 ohms, ensuring effective conductivity. The product is supplied on a removable liner for ease of handling and die cutting. It has a shelf life of five years when stored properly at 70¬8F (21¬8C) and 40-50% relative humidity.
