3M Fabric Tape CN-4490 is a double-coated conductive tape designed for applications requiring excellent electrical conductivity. It features a copper/nickel coated conductive non-woven fabric backing and a conductive acrylic adhesive, providing a low electrical resistance of 0.05 ohms through the adhesive. The tape measures 5 inches by 6 inches and has a total thickness of 2.0 mils (0.05 mm). This product is suitable for grounding and EMI shielding in various applications, including equipment, components, and shielded rooms. Its lightweight and flexible design enhances conformability, while the strength of the backing minimizes the risk of finger lacerations during handling. The tape is supplied on a removable liner for ease of use and die cutting. It has a shelf life of five years when stored under recommended conditions.
