3M,Ñ¢ Electrical Tape 44HT is a clear polyester tape measuring 82.3 meters in length and 76.2 mm in width. It features a thermosetting rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides high tack and quick hold properties, making it suitable for applications requiring strong adhesion. The tape is designed for use in electrical assemblies, including motor lead assemblies and transformers, where it can anchor and insulate wires and components. The tape has a thickness of 5.5 mils (0.14 mm) and offers excellent puncture resistance with a breaking strength of 40 lbs/in (70 N/10mm). It exhibits high electrical resistance with a dielectric strength of 5500 V and an insulation resistance greater than 1 X 10^6 MOhms. The product is RoHS compliant and meets flame retardant requirements of UL 510, making it suitable for various electrical applications. The shelf life is five years when stored under recommended conditions.
